My New EOS 20D
Yup! Just received my set yesterday. Had to rush down to AP at Sim Lim Sq. during lunch. It's selling like hot cake. In fact I think AP has sold all it's body-only sets and is left with a few body+lens kits.
Have taken a few shots with it and I'm quite happy with it. The start-up time is almost nil. And the continuous frames mode is fantastic. I plan to do some mid-Autumn shoot at the Chinese Garden soon and get the photos printed. Read on Clubsnap forum that some encountered lock-up problems. Hope mine is ok. Will have to do a rigorous test over the weekend.
Somehow there's a lot of complaints about AP (Alan Photo Trading) on Clubsnap. I've been buying my stuffs from there since 1998 and I never had problem.
Did a wedding video shoot on Sunday. Roped Leon in for the photo part. But I intend to put video work on hold for the time being. Too busy with official work and family. Plus I want to spend whatever free-time I'm left with doing things that I really want to.... photography and astronomy.
I recently bought a 5" MCT telescope. Looked at the crescent moon last Saturday. Beautiful sight! Made some new friends at Singastro too!
I need to start exercising too. Imagine having two not-so-close friends telling me that I've put on weight! This Saturday will re-start my inline-blading.
