Songs of David Soul
I've been hunting for the CD Best of David Soul when I knew about it while browsing through www. HMV doesn't carry it anymore and was reluctant to order it for me. But I managed to find a last copy at Gramophone. Hoorah!!
It is seldom that I like all the songs in a single CD. So this is one rare gem!

The first 8 songs are sweet old-fashioned ballads and heavy on the strings. After that there's a change in the genre to an interesting mix of blues/folk/gospel vibe. I'm really happy with the songs. The only imperfection is that the 2 songs "Kristofer David" (a song he wrote for his son) and "Black Bean Soup" (Starsky & Hutch sang a bit of it in Episode "Death Notice") are not included.
