6th day at the new home and we are facing ant problems!

I knew there were ants near the back of the roof terrace. My hubby placed a few ant baits around that area a couple of days back. And we thought that took care of the problem as we didn't see the ants anymore.

Yesterday we put our laundry at the roof terrace and last night when we got home, we found our clothes swarmed with ants!! It was too dark to trace the ants. So we got up early this morning and found some ants in 2 of our 5 potted plants. We couldn't see anything at 1st but when we dropped an ant bait into one of the pot, this huge cluster of ants suddenly popped out of the soil! And as I stared at the soil, the surface of the soil suddenly came alive, undulating and to my horror I could see that the entire soil surface was covered with ants making a mad rush for the bait!

OMG! It was amazing! and scary! very fear-factor! Never seen so many ants at one time in such close range in my life! This is too much for us to handle. We need the professionals! I called the landscaping company where we bought the plants and they promised to send someone over to help. So in the meantime, we are dropping ant baits all over the pots, sprayed our doorway with insecticide. Hopefully they don't come into the house.
